Membership in professional organizations can indicate the Electrologist &/or massage therapist is keeping current with their field. Look for certificates, with current dates.  Click the picture on the left for more information on ABMP.

National Certification for massage and bodywork is a voluntary national certification awarded with the passing of a written exam, after completing at least 500 hours in an accredited massage training program.  Maintaining certification requires continuing ed credits with each renewal period.  Minnesota does not currently require this certification, but I felt it was a necessary piece of my professional massage career.  Click on the picture on the left to link to NCBTMB organization.

Most Electrologists offer a free consultation as I do.  Meet with them and look for a clean, professional office space and modern equipment.  Find someone you trust and enjoy spending some quality hair-removal time with.  Friends and family can often refer you to someone in your area or look in the local Chamber of Commerce or phone book.
